This Trestle Table was made from Butternut which is sometimes called White Walnut. The top was made from two 1¾" thick, beautifully book matched slabs with natural wane edges.

Wood from the same tree was used for the trestle base. The base features wane edges and hand fitted mortise and tendon joints with wedges and pins which give it great strength. Several bark inclusions and voids are filled with clear epoxy.

This magnificent piece is finished with hand rubbed oil and Waterlox top coating for added durability.
