The Hall Table is made from Spalted Maple and Wenge. Spalting is the
result of activity by the white rot fungi which yields beautiful shades
of tan, brown, gray and even black. The activity is stoped by drying the
wood or by heating it above 130 F.
This table is a study of contrasts: straight square lines of the top and
tapered, curved lines of the legs which is further accented by light and
dark woods. The table features a “floating top” which adds to the sense
of lightness. Hand rubbed oil finish.
